Senior Project Manager Platform Transition (freelance)
Are you the project manager who keeps a cool head when systems change, stakeholders push and timelines shift — and who does their best work in exactly that kind of complexity? Do you thrive on large, structured trajectories with real impact? Then this is your assignment.
At Bebat, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager Platform Transition to orchestrate our transition trajectory from A to Z — from the initial analysis through to the decommissioning of the current platform. You work closely with the Integration Transition Architect, internal stakeholders and external partners, and are the primary point of contact for progress, risks and decision-making.

Who are you?
You have at least 10 years of experience as a project manager, preferably including IT transition or migration assignments.
You are strong at structuring complex trajectories, managing risks and maintaining scope and budget control.
You have demonstrable experience in environments with multiple vendors and internal stakeholders.
You have sufficient technical insight to understand architectural choices, recognise dependencies and critically challenge proposals from partners. You don’t need to be an architect — but you can follow and contextualise substantive discussions.
You are able to assess feature requests from the business on feasibility and impact within an ongoing transition trajectory.
You communicate clearly and directly, both to operational teams and to management and executive leadership.
You proactively flag risks and come with concrete mitigation measures.
You are comfortable in an environment where not everything is defined upfront and where pragmatic adjustment is part of daily reality.
You are fluent in Dutch; knowledge of English is an advantage.
Practical information
Type of assignment: external assignment (freelance or via partner)
Commitment: 5 days per week, with variation depending on the phase. During quieter periods, the commitment may partially be supplemented with other projects, in consultation.
Duration: 12 months in line with the phasing of the migration trajectory
Start: as soon as possible, ideally simultaneously with the Integration Transition Architect
Location: hybrid, with regular presence at the office in Tienen
