For 30 years, Bebat has been giving used batteries a new life, by collecting them, sorting them, and providing for their reuse or recycling. The metals and valuable materials are removed and reused as raw materials. All other streams are of course also processed properly. We are an environmental organisation with collection results at world level and we strive to recycle more and better. We implement the extended producer responsibility of battery producers.

Product Owner Recycle! (permanent or freelance)
At Bebat and Fost Plus, we are looking for a Product Owner for our Recycle! app. In this role, you are the link between both organisations, the technical parties and other stakeholders. Your mission? To further develop the Recycle! app into THE one-stop solution for questions about collecting, sorting and recycling
What will you do?
Translate strategic goals into actions: You ensure that our ambitions become reality by translating strategic plans into concrete steps.
Connect stakeholders: You are the link between Bebat, Fost Plus and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
Coordinate projects: You monitor the progress, budgets and planning of projects related to the Recycle! app.
Improve and innovate: You map out areas for improvement and ensure that the app continues to meet the needs of users.
Technical sounding board: Together with the technical teams, you ensure the translation of strategic goals into concrete achievements. You work with them to find the best technical solution. You challenge, improve and scale. All from a technical background and interest.
What do we expect from you?
Communication skills: You can connect technical and non-technical parties with each other.
Experienced product manager: You have experience managing and developing digital products. Experience with apps is a major advantage.
Strategic insight: You know how to translate business goals into a practical product strategy.
Data-driven: You base decisions on analyses and user insights.
Collaborative: You enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams and bring people together.
Affinity with circularity: An interest in sustainability and recycling is a plus.
